Sichuan Alley Menu Singapore Reviews and Prices Updated 2025

Located just off Telok Ayer Street in Singapore’s bustling CBD, Sichuan Alley brings the authentic essence of Chengdu’s alleyway food culture to the city. From the outside it looks like any casual noodle spot, but inside you’ll find rustic bamboo chairs, warm lighting, and touches of folk-art décor that echo old-school Sichuan charm. The true highlight here is their signature Mian Yang rice noodles, curated through months of testing to source the perfect handmade noodles—and it shows in every chewy, flavorful bowl. Whether you’re in the mood for classic Dan Dan Noodles, braised beef and pig intestine ramen, or a vibrant plate of B-52 fried chicken, Sichuan Alley strikes a balance between bold Sichuan flavors and approachable casual-dining comfort. In this blog post, we’ll explore Sichuan Alley menu, pricing, current promotions, best-selling items, outlet locations, operating hours, and share our honest review.

OUR REVIEW ON SICHUAN ALLEY SINGAPORE

I recently had dinner at Sichuan Alley in Telok Ayer, and it immediately felt like a genuine slice of Chengdu tucked into Singapore’s CBD. The décor—with bamboo chairs, rattan accents, and folk-art touches—echoes the brand’s mission to evoke old “alley culture” in a friendly, welcoming setting. The atmosphere was cozy yet energetic, bustling with diners eager for bold Sichuan flavors. We started with a round of signature beverages—my favorite was the Osmanthus Rice Wine, fragrant and mellow, and the zesty Cold Brew Yuzu Chrysanthemum Tea, both refreshing accompaniments to spice-forward dishes.

Dishes did not disappoint. Their King Prawns with Vine Pepper Rice Noodles offered perfectly chewy noodles in a sour, numbing broth with plenty of fresh prawns—spicy but balanced in flavor. The Braised Pig Intestines with Tofu and B‑52 Fried Chicken were standout tapas-style bites—crunchy, flavorful, and packed with bold umami and mala heat. Their Dan Dan Noodles deserve special mention—chewy and topped with crispy minced pork cooked low and slow, with deeply aromatic chili oil made from imported Sichuan chili and rapeseed oil.

We closed the meal with the cooling Speciality Ice Jelly, dotted with red sugar syrup, rice balls, peanuts, and hawthorn flakes, along with Sweet Fermented Rice infused with osmanthus—both light and cleansing after a mala-heavy meal. Service was efficient and friendly, and even though the place was busy, we were seated quickly and enjoyed prompt drink refills and dish explanations. Prices are competitive—most mains fall between S$11–25, making it accessible whether you’re popping in solo or sharing plates with friends.
