Walking in, the cozy coffee-shop setting and familiar tables filled with groups of friends gave it a warm, local vibe. The staff handed us order chits and explained how to mark plates—a throwback to open-air Thai street BBQ stalls in the best way. A charcoal-powered mu kratha pot with a moat of broth and a domed grill plate quickly became our centerpiece as fat dripped, juices sizzled, and the soup began to boil.
We went for the a la carte route—each plate from ~S$1.80 to S$2.80 felt fresh and well-marinated. Highlights included the black pepper pork belly, spicy chicken, and smoked duck—all tender, flavourful, and delicious when dipped into their signature three chili sauces (seafood, meat, and milder sweet options).
