The open-air wooden dining area, built like a rustic lakeside retreat, offered a serene vibe—especially as the sun dipped below the water. It made for the perfect escape from the city buzz, with fans keeping things comfortable and the gently lit surrounding greenery adding to the charm. Service was warm and attentive; I especially appreciated how quickly the staff refilled drinks and guided us through the extensive seafood menu. Plus, for diners who need it, there’s even a surau on site—a thoughtful touch for Muslim guests.
The food lived up to the atmosphere. We dug into the signature BBQ XXL Meat Crab and the spicy-sweet Sweet & Chili XL Crab with Buns, both meaty and well-seasoned, with the crab practically yielding to the last crack. The Deep-Fried Scallop with Mango Roll was unexpectedly delightful—a crisp bite followed by juicy sweetness that hit the spot. And though it’s seafood-focused, there’s diversity here: I found the New Zealand Black Pepper Lamb Ribs well-balanced, and the Roasted Chicken surprisingly juicy and flavorful. That said, portions are generous but pricing edges toward premium, and some dishes like the salted egg crab didn’t quite match their hype or my past experiences elsewhere.
