OUR REVIEW ON CANTON PARADISE SINGAPORE
I recently dined at Canton Paradise at Marina Bay Sands and had a delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a comfortable setting for a meal. I ordered the Steamed Molten Salted Egg Yolk Custard Piggy Buns, which were not only adorable but also delicious, with a rich, flowing custard filling. The Crispy BBQ Pork Buns were equally impressive, featuring generous savory fillings. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, the combination of tasty dishes and excellent service made for an enjoyable visit.
However, on a subsequent visit to the Canton Paradise outlet at Alexandra Retail Centre, the experience was less satisfactory. Despite arriving early and placing our order promptly, our group faced a significant delay, with only one main dish arriving after over an hour. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived later were served their full meals. When we inquired about the delay, the staff mentioned that a surge in online orders had overwhelmed the kitchen. By the time our food arrived, it was cold, and the prolonged wait had dampened our appetite. This inconsistency in service between outlets was disappointing and highlighted the need for better coordination during peak times.
