I recently dropped by AROI Thai Kitchen in Eco Ardence, Shah Alam, and was impressed by its warm, neighborhood charm. The dining space feels inviting and clean, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I opted for a hearty Fried Rice with Beef topped with a fluffy Thai omelette—each bite was flavorful and comforting, exactly what I crave for a weekend lunch. The highlight, though, was their aromatic Tom Yum Seafood Mama Mee: a tangy, spicy broth brimming with shrimp, fish, and rice vermicelli that balanced sour and savory perfectly. I washed it all down with the creamy, richly-flavored Thai milk tea—sweet, aromatic, and utterly satisfying.
On a return visit to their Paradigm Mall outlet, I tried a few more favorites. The Pad Kra Pow (Thai basil chicken) was outstanding—punchy and vibrant, a real standout on the menu. However, I also tasted their Boat Noodles and Pad Thai, which were decent but slightly underwhelming—noodle textures were soft, and the Pad Thai lacked a flavor punch, staying innocently mild. The Mango Ice Shaved was a hit—served in a generous bowl and refreshingly fruity, it was a perfect end to the spicy mains. Service across visits was warm and polite, though I did note small inconsistencies in dish execution between outlets. Overall, AROI Thai offers a reliably satisfying taste of home-style Thai comfort—especially when you go for classics like Tom Yum, basil chicken, and mango desserts.
