The balance of spices was just right, offering a comforting snack that reminded me of traditional homemade flavors. The service was prompt, and the staff were courteous, making the experience pleasant overall.
However, on a subsequent visit to the Bugis outlet, my experience was less satisfactory. I encountered issues with the digital payment system, and the staff were unhelpful in resolving the matter. Despite paying via PayNow, I was told the transaction hadn’t gone through, and no assistance was offered to rectify the situation. This lack of support was disappointing and contrasted sharply with my previous experience. It highlighted the inconsistency in service quality across different outlets, suggesting that while Old Chang Kee offers delightful snacks, the customer experience can vary significantly depending on the location.
