OUR REVIEW ON COLLIN’S SINGAPORE
I recently dined at COLLIN’S® at PLQ Mall in Singapore, drawn by its reputation for affordable Western cuisine. I ordered the Teriyaki Pork Belly and the Bi Feng Tang Fish Fillet. The pork belly was well-grilled, tender, and flavorful, while the fish fillet was aromatic and crispy, offering a delightful twist compared to typical fish and chips. The portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience.
However, on a subsequent visit to the same outlet, I encountered some issues. The food was served on large, elevated plates placed on small tables, making it awkward to cut the meat with the provided cutlery. Moreover, the mains and sides were served cold, with the meats dried out, which was disappointing. While the Caesar salad was enjoyable, as it was meant to be cold, the overall experience was underwhelming, leading me to reconsider returning in the future.
