I recently visited Emily’s Steakhouse tucked into Bukit Bintang, and the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I’d been whisked into a refined yet cozy British dining room. The warm wood tones, plush seating, and softly glowing lights created a welcoming atmosphere that worked just as well for a casual weeknight dinner as it would for a small celebration. Service was consistently attentive too—staff checked in to make sure our medium-rare ribeye hit the mark, and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert when they heard we were celebrating a birthday.
When it comes to the food, Emily’s truly shines in the flavors and execution of its steaks. The Aged Aberdeen Angus cuts came out with beautiful sears, cooked exactly to our preference, and paired with robust sauces like black pepper and mushroom which added depth without overpowering the meat’s natural flavor. I also sampled their Crab Pot with Toast—a refreshing, lightly dressed crab meat dish that balanced richness with delicate textures—and their desserts, especially the bread pudding, wrapped up the meal on a perfectly comforting note.
